Laws of Leggings: A Few Tips on How NOT To Wear Your Plus Size Leggings
Fall is upon us, the leaves are changing color and the temperature is falling. This doesn’t mean that we plus size women still can’t wear our cute tunics and skirts. The secret to fall and winterclothing for plus size women is layering. Add a pair of plus size leggings under any tunic and look fashionable and fit as the leggings contour to your shape. Plus, since its fall, darker colors are appropriate so a pair of black plus size women's leggings are perfect.
Be careful ladies, when adding leggings to your outfits. Here are 3 Laws of Leggings when adding this accessory to your outfit:
-When wearing leggings, try to not pair them with a fitted or tight top. The fitted leggings need to be balanced with a roomier blouse.
- Although we all used to do it in the early 90’s, in 2009, the “Kelly Kapowski” look no longer works. So ladies, please no sweatshirts with your leggings, at least not in public.
- Most importantly, plus size leggings are an accessory, and used for layering. Always wear a tunic, skirt, or pants as your main piece of bottoms. Sign-in to place your comments
